Our creamery is situated in one of the best dairy farming regions in the UK .

The Lubborn Creamery is situated in the valley of Cricket St Thomas, South Somerset. The valley has ideal soils and a good rainfall producing lush sweet grazing. A new creamery was built at Manor Farm in 2002, not far from the site of our original creamery, thus allowing us to keep our loyal team of cheese makers and milk suppliers.

Lubborn pioneered the craft of making Brie style cheeses in this country. By using an authentic cheese making method, an insistence on quality and sourcing locally produced milk, our soft cheeses typically have a full and yet fresh flavour.

Although our cheese making process has essentially remained unchanged, new technology has improved consistency and quality control, with the pleasing result that customers say our cheese tastes even better! Additionally, the new creamery presents new opportunities for product development, which strengthens our position as the leading mould ripened cheese manufacturer in the UK.
